Road to Ginen collects very little data. This policy tells you exactly what we do and do not do. Last updated: 2026-05-25.

What we collect

If you email us at hello@roadtoginen.org, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use it to reply. We do not store it in a marketing system. If you sign up for the Dispach newsletter (not yet live), we store your email address to send you the newsletter. Nothing else.

What we don't collect

We do not use advertising trackers. We do not embed social media pixels. We do not collect your location, device fingerprint, or browsing history. We do not build profiles. We do not sell or share any data.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare's built-in analytics, which are privacy-preserving and require no cookies. We see aggregate traffic numbers (page views, country of origin) but no individual records. You cannot be identified from what we see.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies. When we add a newsletter or account system in a future phase, that will require a session cookie, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

Donations

Donations are processed by Givebutter (which uses Stripe for payment processing). Road to Ginen does not receive or store your full payment details. We receive a donor record (name, amount, email) from Givebutter for our records. This data is never shared or published. The public ledger shows amounts and dates only — no personal information.

Lodyans archive

Contributors to the Lodyans oral history archive consent explicitly to how their account is stored, displayed, and attributed before any recording. Minors require guardian approval. The full ethics framework is published at /ethics.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete any personal data we hold about you at any time. Email us at hello@roadtoginen.org. We will confirm receipt within one week and process the request within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially, we will update the date at the top and note the change in the Dispach newsletter. We will not retroactively change how we handle data that was collected under a previous policy.
